Richard T. Gill's short stories in the Atlantic and the New Yorker were widely anthologized. His story, “The Secret,” won the Atlantic Monthly First Short Story Prize, and another story, “The Code,” was selected by the New Yorker editiors for inclusion in Stories from the New Yorker, 1950-60.
